TV Terrors: TV Shows that Delve into Horror for Just One Episode

Image
Do you ever, as a horror fan, come across something that's not marketed as horror, but really strikes that horror chord with you? It happens a lot to me, often with books. Or with movies marketed as "thrillers." Occasionally, however, an episode of a not-specifically-horror-themed television show will really deliver the chills. I, obviously, love when this happens. My Super Psycho Sweet 16

Hi all. For everyone who reads this blog (all two of you), sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been super sick. Feeling better now, but still not 100% so this will be a short review. My Super Psycho Sweet 16 is a parody of/feature length advertisement for MTV's My Super Sweet 16 , and also pokes fun at the awful behavior of that show's featured teens. Therefore, for those of us who were teens in the show's early days, this film acts not only as a (not so bloody) stalk and slash flick, but also a trip down memory lane. The cast ranges from decent to surprisingly talented, and the future Mr. Paris Hilton, Chris Zylka, is charmingly sweet as exactly the type of guy I would have fallen for in high school. It's largely thanks to the cast and the nostalgia factor that I'm eager to see the two sequels to this fun, but otherwise not particularly spectacular, ride.
